Introduced with Beethoven's "Pastoral". I found it very surreal. The judge is child-like, exploring the world around him. Prancing through the flowers on his small feet, a pale ghost weightless in movement, absorbing everything around him. The rest of the crew is more mortal, they are heavy and weathered shells of men, mere savages, and their matted horses trudge through the highlands. A big contrast between the judge and the others.
